Type 1 3-Way Chat

These details are for a Type 1 phone service. What type of service do I have?

 

3-Way Chat allows you to have a telephone conversation with two callers at the same time.

 

Notes

  • The third person in the 3-Way Chat can be a caller who has come through via Call Waiting.
  • When participating in a 3-Way conversation, the Call Waiting feature will not function.
  • Call Forward Immediate and/or Call Forward Busy will continue to function if they have been activated.
  •  

Instructions

 

To place the current caller on hold and dial a new number

RecallWait for dial tonePhone numberWait for answer

 

To switch on the 3-Way Chat feature (Once you are talking to one caller and have another caller on hold)

RecallWait for dial tone3

 

To divide a 3-Way Chat (this will place one call on hold)

RecallWait for dial tone2

 

To swap between calls (this will place the current caller on hold)

RecallWait for dial tone2

 

To end the current call and go back to the call on hold

RecallWait for dial tone1
