Type 1 Call Forwarding

These details are for a Type 1 phone service. What type of service do I have?

 

The Call Forward feature allows you to redirect calls that come through to your home phone onto a preferred alternative number, such as your mobile. Certain conditions must be met and there are 3 basic versions available:

  1. Call Forward No Answer – Incoming calls can be forwarded to a specific number if they are left unanswered for a selected period of time.
  2. Call Forward Busy – Incoming calls can be forwarded to a specific number when you are using the phone.
  3. Call Forward Immediate – Incoming calls are immediately forwarded to a specific number.

Notes

  • For the Call forward No Answer feature, you may select a time between 5 and 60 seconds at which you deem calls to be 'unanswered'. Before you set this, the default time is 20 seconds.
  • Calls may not be forwarded to particular numbers such as international numbers and emergency services numbers.
  • With the exception of Selective Call Forwarding, Call Forward Immediate surpasses all other features.
